How accurate is the wiimote in shooting games like Resident Evil 4 or Metroid Prime?

Is the cursor on screen exactly behind the end of the wiimote?
if you sweep your wiimote, does the cursor on point or does it lag from the end of your wiimote?

Do you have to keep the wiimote up or the console will lose track of your sight?

Not accurate at all. Duck Hunt for the NES was better. FOR REAL

For the most part, it is as accurate as the movements of your hand. It will not disappear from the screen unless you really move it away. I have never noticed movements lag on screen with the remote.
