I recently bought the Play and Charge kit for my xbox 360 wireless controller. It plugs into the top of the controller and plugs into the xbox through the usb port. It works fine and I can charge and play at the same time, but I was wondering if I could plug it into a usb port on my pc to use it as well. Maybe make it work like a normal wired controller? Any suggestions would be appreciated ^_^

“Is there a way to connect an XBOX 360 wireless controller to my PC using the Play & Charge Kit?”
Unfortunately, no. Ironically, if you had the Wired controller, you could just plug it in the computer and it would work perfectly, but who goes and buys wired controllers? In order to use a wireless controller/controllers on your PC, you need to purchase a “Wireless receiver for Windows” (Basically $20)

I have one, and it works great.

If you plug the cable into your PC, it may download a driver. This driver allows you to charge your 360 controller using the cable, it does not however allow you to use the controller on the PC.
