I have been with Nintendo for years from the 64 to Wii but im growing tired of it I now want a Xbox 360 but i dont know anything about it and dont know which Xbox console i should get.......help me!

From a price persepective for a new system I would recommend the PRO since the 60 GB HDD is plently big enough for lots of DLC (downloadable content; new multi-player maps, new missions, character, avatar add-ons, etc -PLUS- enough room to pre-load a few favorite games for faster, quieter game play).
If you’re not afraid to buy a refurbished model then the ELITE bundle from GEEKS.com is selling for just $230 ( was $200 last week
Just buy the Xbox 360 Elite. Only $300 (comes with a 120 GB hard-drive, one wireless controller, HDMI Cable, & a game depending on the bundle) They are also currently selling “Value Bundles” for the Xbox 360 which includes everything I just said above with the Wireless Networking Adapter ($100 stand-alone) just for $30 extra, making it $330. If you plan on buying Modern Warfare 2 when that game releases it would be worth more of your money to buy the Modern Warfare 2 limited edition Xbox 360 that comes with a 250GB hard-drive, 2 wireless controllers, HDMI Cable, and a copy of Modern Warfare 2 itself for only $100 more. ($400) But I don’t think there is a value bundle for the adapter with this bundle. Whatever you do, make sure your Xbox 360 is atleast an Elite, it will be worth the most of your money out of any of the other editions except the 250GB one.
It depends what kind of gamer you are. If you are more hardcore, meaning you will play RPGs and games that require more time, the 360 is great for you. Honestly though don’t buy the arcade unit. I recommend if u have $300, buy the Xbox 360 Elite. It has HDMI support, which if u have an HDTV, or a compatible computer monitor is big. It also has a huge hard drive at 120 GB. Also if you buy it before like October 2nd or something (look on Xbox.com), you get a $50 mail in rebate. So you get a pretty good system for like $270 if u cash in on rebate.
As for games, I recommend you get Halo 3, Fallout 3 above all else. Fallout 3 is my favorite game for 360 and i have invested over 100 hours. Halo 3 is a great multiplayer. But really if u looking for game help check out IGN.com, cause they have a bunch of review and stuff. Then you can make game choices for yourself.
