I was wondering, does the Xbox 360 HDD make any noise on start up of the system? It just seems a little to quite even for a start up for me.

it does but you wont notice untill you get into playing a couple of months more! its gonna start sounding like a vacuum cleaner
no its not, no 360 in the world should even have a 360 hard drive that makes noise if it does that means the padding an Silicon base inside is slowly coming off from the position the only thing that makes nice for me is the fans but but 360 over heats after 5-30 Min’s of game play and it freezes but other then that the HDD should not make noise
No, HDDs are silent unless they are about to break.
