I have a 1gb memory stick and something happened to it and the psp wont read it, the memory stick light just flashes, and it happened to my friend but he just but a new one. Is there any way i can fix this so it can work again?

If you have a card reader on your computer you can reformat it. This will completely wipe out all the information and reload the File Allocation Table that will make the card usable.
if you have an adapter so you can hook it up to your computer you could try formatting it or getting your computer to try to recover/repair it.
try formatting the memory stick using ur pc
