My 11-yr old is wanting the new star wars PSP bundle for Christmas. What accessories do I need to plan on in addition to the console? I assume a memory stick, but what size is adequate? Are there any other necessities that I need to consider? Thanks for helping an old man!!!

casses, umd cleaner, umd holder i have a 2gb..and its not enough as i have downloaded games for it
the BP comes w/ the new PSP redisined, memory stick duo(5 GB) battlefield game darth vader PSP and possibly a movie.

The PSP is a fantastic little machine!
It has limitless capabilities if you modify the firmware, but considering he’s only 11 he may not get into all that for a while.
Listed are some things that will help him take care of it until he is ready to REALLY start customizing.
1GB card for storing save games, music, videos
(I have a 4gb AND a 1gb but that’s because I store whole games on there instead of the Universal Media Disks (UMDs))

This is a pair of screen protectors and microfiber cloth… You may want to help him apply the protector, because it can be difficult if you want to get it just right.

Here is a list of games sorted by scores based on average critics’ scores.. You can review them and decide which are best for him to play… Lumines is a REALLY fun block puzzle game and one of my fav’s… A new game called Spelling Challenges & More may help him w/ vocabulary
