As i am considering purchasing a wireless gaming receiver and/or a game from Denmark, so I would like to know whether it would work or not. I'm pretty sure that denmark is PAL, like australia.

Yes, it’ll all work.
Denmark is PAL and even the electricity is a compatible voltage.
All your games and accessories bought will be compatible. Just about ALL games (not just a few) are region locked, but as Europe is the same game region (PAL) as Australasia – you’re okay.
You may need a plug adapter for the Australian wall socket if you purchase anything that uses an electrical plug (like the Xbox 360′s power supply), but that’s all and easy to find at places like Dick Smith or Myers.
The wireless gaming receiver can be bought from any locality as it’s not even region locked (none of the hardware accessories are, not even the old HD-DVD drive) and games are okay – I’ve bought from U.K, Australia and France and there’s all fine as they are all PAL.
