If the Xbox is on and the disk is spinning, YES! If its off, no.

My boyfriend left a game in his 360 and he brought it over to my house. By the time we had it hooked up and ready to play the game, the drive wouldn’t open. He had just gotten it so we brought it back to the store to ask them if it was broken and the guy said it happened because the game had been left inside.

Sorry Sameh, even if it is off, it can still damage the disc. I’ve moved my Xbox 360 with my copy of Halo 3 in it when it first came out, and the game for some unapparent reason got lodged inside the disc tray. When I plugged it back in and turned it on the was a horrible grinding noise and my disc was ruined. So technically it wasn’t the moving, but the consequence of moving it lol.

The console is not meant to be carried with a game inside. That is not how it was designed. If you take the thing apart and study the design, you’ll see how it is possible for not only the laser/optic sensor to scratch the disc, but how the disc itself may dislodge from the tray. It is NOT a good idea to transport your console with a game inside.

only if your xbox falls and the game is in it, or if the game is in your xbox and your xbox is turned on. but if its off then you should be safe.
