Cool video about xbox console - have a look:
Modified XBOX console running custom XBMC GUI. Some of the features: * 1GHz CPU * 128MB RAM * 400GB HDD * 720p Output * Digital Audio Output * h.264 Support upto 720p * Wide Emulator Support (N64, MAME, PS1) There a few 100 XBOX's with *similar* specs out there, very rare esp. in this condition.

Respond to this video… Had to desolider all the balls on the CPU
@Meshflesh20 No sorry, check the XBMC forums, there are people that could do something similar
@djv8 Not sure if its still around, google t3ch xbmc
@MartinChir the 1 ghz or the 733? cause the 733 was a Coppermine PIII/Celeron Class intel processor.. not a mobile chip
were can i find this version of xbmc??
Curious what’s it hooked up to the T.V. with? o;
Like you know XD Component orrrrrr Crap tastic Composite/RF garbage?
seems to me with this “Ultimate Xbox” you did the same thing that a soft mod could I have all the same shit on my xbox and its a softmod I thought that you were gonna show me something cool
@MartinChir
Thanks for the reply. Do you think you can make me a custom xbox with a modded 1tb drive and all the other upgrades??(128ram, 1ghz processor)??? Ill make it worth your while. let me know. thanks
@thrasha666 Not true, it will run without a custom BIOS or OS however most compiled games (I’m talking retail games) need to be HEX edited to sync with the faster CPU, something like “733MHz” changed to “1000MHz”
@Dimerah It’s an Intel mobile chip, kind used on Laptops at the time
@Meshflesh20 It was sold a few months ago to a person on a remote island off Australia for $500, he was very happy with it, I have no contact with him but I’m sure his is taking great care of it
@MartinChir regardless of its a swap or oc’d, one thing that i had learned is that the os is written for the exact hardware (ram doesnt count) so ud have to have a completely custom os, even the bios would have to be completely custom
Hi, is this xbox for sale??? I want to buy it ASAP!!
@TheFred128 I liked The Darkness and Metal Gear Solid 4 however it was too loud, power hungry, and deeply locked and controlled by Sony was a great company back in the day but they have no idea about the connected world will live in today
@xelbaga1987 It’s a modified retail box, the DEBUG has 128MB’s of RAM and a custom Bios (like a basic OS, meaningless performance wise)
@70emuladorful No problem if you own the game I think check you state laws!
@thrasha666 I swore I replied to you! First this is not an overclock its a CPU exchange. MS did various things to prevent CPU tampering but they where trivial (from a security point of view); 1 the clock rate of the CPU is locked on compilation however you can HEX edit to change these bits, 2 there is a pin that has to be retasked 3 You have to have to desoldier a lot, lot of pins which can only really be done with industrial equipment
@MartinChir interesting, what sort of processing chip works in an xbox like that?
@Dimerah I had the motherboard modified by an engineer in China
How did you get a 1ghz processor?
hey i have a question ..your xbox with 1 ghz and 128 ram is it tuned ..customed (or whatever you wanna call it ) ? or is a retail console what so called xbox debug ?..like those green ones ?…thanks..beautiful tuto by the way good choice
@keithryan1025 Thanks! Yeah I now have an LG BD-370 Bluray Network player too, good value brand
Dude you are my hero furthermore another win for Lg i love Lg products man sooo nice good work.
hello martinchir i might domload game roms to XBOX no problems?
thank you
@ikilluish Thanks, believe it or not it’s mostly done with the XBOX CPU, the GPU supports 1080i output however the XBOX Media Center developers can’t access much of the GPU features, and the CPU is too slow to decode compressed video that large.
I recently built a PC media center and the only thing it had over the XBOX is that it supported video recording in my opinion
