I have a modded xbox at home that is broken & wasnt' sure what MS would do if I send it in for repair? Any ideas?

Is it illegaly modded? theyll probs take it away, maybe charge you.
Why would you send it back? once its modded, the warranty is gone, if you send it to them, they will send it back and make you pay for shipping costs. If its broken, thats your fault, and because it is modded, you cannot send it back and get it repaired, you have to get a new Xbox.
Do NOT do the towel trick, that overheats your xbox 360, completely smashing the hardware, that is the last thing you want to do. Its a “temporary fix” that in the long run, breaks it more.
Not much,but it would void your warranty and get you banned from LIVE. So just do the towel or Penny trick(Google them) They work!!! =)

Just call them and tell them that it is modded and they will repair it normally.

If your 360 is illegally modded they can ban your live ID. Also if it is modded it has more than likely had the seal broken which means the warranty is void. Therefore I would not risk it. If it is broken you mine as well go get a new one. You MIGHT get away with taking it to gamestop and trading it in for a new one. They will only give you 50 bucks or so for it if its broken.

It depends really if they notice its been modded but i cant see that happening often, i have heard of other people getting they’re xbox back and a note saying not able to repair it as its been modded. There are companers out there who fix faulty xbox’s for a fee.
Ya, i would NOT do that. They will find out and charge you for every game you downloaded. Don’t. You knew the risk when you modded it.
