I don't understand. If I'd prefer not to use the tablet-like controller and want to use the WiiMote on the new WiiU games, can I? Or will the WiiU games only be able to be controlled by the tablet controller?
The tablet thing looks kind of fun, but I like the freedom of movement the WiiMote gives you. Having an option would be awesome.

Sorry, no it will not work. Nintendo has announced that you can use the wii U’s touch screen to simulate the wii’s motion controls and that the wiimotes will not be supported.
Yes, they said that WiiMote and Balance Board will be compatible with Wii U.
