I bought my son a PSP for X-mas and was wondering what additional accessories i should get to go with it...

well you need games, a memory stick, a psp case, screen protectors or just go to http://www.gamestop.com for more accessories.
Really, all you need is a carrying case (on mine I just have a black slip in case). Also, get a memory card if you have not got one yet. It is a Pro Memory Stick Duo. If he is just using for games a 32 MB would be fine, but if he is using it for music and video then I would get a 1 or 2GB. If he is going to use it for music or video though, then i would get headphones. Other than that, it comes with everything you need.
The psp is a system that doesnt really need any additional accessories with it. However it is good to have a psp starter kit.
Buying a psp on the go kit or a kit for the psp usually includes a case, protective screen, additional usb charger, car charger, headphones, and sometimes other various things.
A starter kit will include everything you need. If your son likes certein video games they do have changable face plates for the psp as well. After that just go for the games. Good Luck
i own a psp and im happy to tell you that the psp has so many features it will keep you busy (for now) all you need is an internet cannection for browser and ebuddy can also be accesed on the psp.
I would recommend a case and a memory card. Earbuds could come in handy but he may already have a set.
Gamestop ( and other stores) sell little kits that have multiple accessories but he might not even use a lot of that stuff either.
Seriously the case and memory stick are all he NEEDS.

The only really essential accessories are , battery back, and an A/C adaptor, and a memory stick to save your game play. Ones that are useful for some game/movies are.
