Damn, this looks awesome. I might have to pick up a DS now. It’s probably the best platform for me to try relive all my favorite SNES experiences.
I love the visual style of this game, and the series as a whole. It’s such a shame Publishers seem adamant that the West isn’t ready for such a style, despite the 4 or 5 titles that have already made it to the US and Europe.
Thank god we still got Okami, Okamiden, and Muramasa still.

@Hexrapper Guess the Goemon series ended in America along with the N64 generation. Pity. It was one of my faves for that consul. :/

@purvicide I found a really good guide on GameFAQs that says that if you’ve played other Goemon games and generally know how the games work, what the items do and so on, you should be fine. I ordered a copy from eBay a few days ago, so we’ll see…
@purpleblizzard Don’t forget about “Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon” on the Game Boy! I never played it, but Nintendo Power spent like three months doing a walkthrough of that game. =)

Why didn’t this game come out in America?
very nice, but one very big problem there, you cant just replace what are supposed to be 3D levels with 2D ones it just screws everything and its very conffusing, i can barely tell the depth of the levels, and how far i’m from the item.
soma bringer for the ds for example, it has the same problem but there is a difference, soma is not a game where you have to jump trough obstacles you just kill everything so is not so fuckd up
i loved the mistical ninjas for N64, but this one sucks
