I had a Ds lite but sold it a couple of years ago. Now i am seeing that Nintendo has the best handhelds. I am looking to buy another DS. I Don't know which one to buy. Money is not an obstacle. I can either buy a DSI XL now or wait however long it takes till the 3DS comes out. BTW i am mostly going to be playing pokemon. Also plz request good DS games.

i think you should wait for the 3DS its cooler and slimmer, the DSI XL is bulky and basiclly a big dsi. so what?? omg a ds can take pics, holy shit. but the 3ds looks way cooler with better graphics..
If you like pokemon, youd probably like Bleach: the 3rd phantom. its part of the bleach anime series, but its alot of fun
Wait for the 3DS. Unless, there is a DS game you absolutely have to have right now. Though skip the DSi XL and go for either another lite or a regular DSi – the games do not look as good on the DSi XL. The screens are larger on the XL but the resolution is the same…so while everything is bigger the image is not as sharp or crisp as the DSi or the lite and the system is bulky and heavy.
If you like RPG’s there’s a whole slew of them on the system that are worth checking out including the new Dragon Quest IX, a remake of Final Fantasy IV, Chronotrigger, and the Zelda titles. There’s a new pokemon game coming out as you probably know, Black/White – while I’m not an huge fan it has peeked my interest. Other games worth considering Scribblenaughts, Super Scribblenaughts, The Professor Layton games, and of course several remade, new, and yet to be released Pokemon games.
Overall though, if you can wait go reserve a 3DS and start playing next March – it will be backward compatible with current DS titles so you won’t miss anything.
Well, I would say wait for the 3DS. More features, you can play in 3D, and I THINK it has a camera, ect like the dsi. I really reccomend it, because I beleive it will be fun! Another reason to get it is because you can get games only exclusive to the 3DS, such as nintendogs plus cats, ect! But if you really care about eyesight, get the dsi XL.
Note: You CAN play regular ds games on the 3DS.

1. Wait for the 3DS
2. The DSi XL is just a big, heavy DSi
3. The 3DS I *think* is set for release this coming March 2011
4. I *think* that there is a yellow DSi/DSi XL soon to be released. Its and ugly mustard shade (if thats your color)
5. POKEMON BLACK AND WHITE ARE IN THE MAKING!!!
