Classic Game Room HD – PLAYSTATION 3 game console review PS3

Cool video about playstation 3 console - have a look:

Classic Game Room was the FIRST classic video game review show on the Internet in 1999. Returning in 2008 with new episodes, Classic Game Room breaks out a review of the PLAYSTATION 3 PS3 video game console and blu-ray player. Now the the Bluray and HD-DVD format war are regarded as over, what does that really mean? Does Blu-Ray have a rosey future, or has the real format war just begun? In the PS3 vs. Xbox 360 vs. Wii battle for video game supremacy who will win? Some of these questions are brought to the table in this look from the technical side of things as the PS3. For your hard earned dollars how good is this thing and should you buy it or an Atari 2600? Now that the big games like Gran Turismo Prologue and Grand Theft Auto are upon us, should you sell a kidney to buy a PS3? Or is the Sega Genesis still a better game system? CGR-HD has spent some time with the new Sony monster and has spent time with the Xbox... so let's hear it. Be sure to watch the original Classic Game Room episodes. Classic Game Room was the original classic video game review show on the Internet in 1999-2000, now on DVD. Wii, PS3, Xbox 360.

DaFunk14 April 18, 2010 at 11:40 pm

@runescapekingpker meh fair enough to part with

pjm5678 April 18, 2010 at 11:42 pm

i own both as well and i think the ps3 is a little (just a little) better.

runescapekingpker April 19, 2010 at 12:21 am

@darrouken I’ll admit it, i like both gears and halo. I’ve had a 360 since 2008 and a PS since 2007 (GB backwards ones) and i gotta tell you, the 360 has better exclusives games that you can play with your bros. PS has good single player exclusives but when it comes down to anything multiplayer Xbox has it in that department.

darrouken April 19, 2010 at 1:13 am

@runescapekingpker halo and gears fan?

runescapekingpker April 19, 2010 at 1:20 am

@darrouken pffffffft LOL

ps3 hasent unleashed its full potential yet the xbox has thought what u see is what u get with the 360 but for ps3 users there is so much more to come that console is capable of alot there will be no need for a ps4. while 360 users have to go out and buy a brand new 720 ps3 users wont have to because we can update our system

willson2234 April 19, 2010 at 4:53 am

my ps3 dosent look like that

legofans452 April 19, 2010 at 5:49 am

@donaldds25 Those USB memory sticks can hold a helluvalot. Put a few of those in a plastic case, and you might have just as much storage as a DVD or maybe Bluray disk. But it’d be expensive.

WR1ck1e April 19, 2010 at 6:32 am

@arckangel853 Yea, and if xbox and PS3 started off at the same month/year at the same price, PS3 would be the best selling console right now, except for PS2 and Wii. :P

WR1ck1e April 19, 2010 at 7:28 am

@pjm5678 Of course. -_- No offence but thats a stupid question. Though the only way you can play PS2 games is with a PS2 or a PS3 FAT.

WR1ck1e April 19, 2010 at 7:53 am

@darrouken And a more variety of games.

donaldds25 April 19, 2010 at 7:53 am

@ikilldkenny NOBODY WOULD!!! Cartriges have such a small amount of memory and such poor quality. Thats why they made the disk so it would hold a long more detailed more advanced game that is not mario. Even tho mario is still awesome.

cacapeogrande April 19, 2010 at 8:12 am

@darrouken no the ds does lol

Braden123135 April 19, 2010 at 8:39 am

I own both and play the 360 way more…for me its about the games NOT the systems, and so far for me any way the 360 is far in front in games and DLC plus online play…

phoenixfirex April 19, 2010 at 9:50 am

They removed the PS3′s ability to play PS2
games because it was unstable due to A
Blue Laser (Blu-Ray) instead of a red one
