I have a ps3 and i love it, ive never had a problem with it either (knock on wood) and I hate it when people call it the gaystation, because they don’t even know half of what they are talking about. All they say is “oh xbox has better graphics” “there aren’t that many games for ps3″ all in all, people are ashamed of having an xbox because they wish they had gotten a ps3. =-)
they say that in the future we have to pay for playing online with the ps3 >:(

I respect your opinion though the PS3 does not have Mass Effect or Dragon age origans though I am more of a RPG person and also resistance 1 was good Resistance 2 did not get great reviews it had around 8.75 out of ten by most video game magazines. The PS3 does have a good amount of exlcusives I just think it does not have as many as the 360. Except for Metal Gear solid 4 which I wll admitt is awesome and I loved the fight near the end with rex. I haved wanted to use rex since the first game.
come on does the xbox have MGS4 Uncharted 2 Killzone 2 Resistance 1 & 2 noo but the 360 is still great but the ps3 is better IMO
So are you saying that when a company like sony comes out with a product they do not look at what there competition has at the time and uses that to guage there product that is stupid of course companies look at what there competition has out that is a rule of running a company you are not making any sense.

also If I were to say one of the old consoles was better then Xbox which is silly it would have been the Atari 7800 which was much better then the NES, Atari was better then Nintendo. they were more reliable then NES my atari is still working and it is about 23 years old sorry to say but I would love to see a modern console last that long without having a problem, not going to happen though PS3 already broke down.
Also how care which one came out first one of the three companies would have had to been first microsoft just decided to do it first. Some one always has to take the first leap then everybody else follows look at the Sega genesis came out first then SNES, nintendo just waited so they know how to make a console better then Sega like Microsoft VS sony.
I meant as in the concept of a disk tray is a tried and solid idea so mircrosoft stuck with it because they did not see a reason to come up with something new and in your last comment you did say that the 360 being loud was not next generation so are you saying how loud it is also determines its generation because then cartridge systems would be modern because they make no noise at all. I also see you did not disagree with the fact that the 360′s failure rate has gone down considerable.
Why replace something if its not broken? The 1st xbox had a problem where the disk tray wouldnt pop out. Xbox came out 1st because sony actually test there system to make sure its as close to perfect as they can get it they dont just slap it together and sell it. and about atari and nes being better than an xbox you said that not me lol.
Games do determine nex gen but not the only thing. Blu ray is nex gen. a disk tray is old school a ps2 had that.

Just because it has a disk tray does not mean it is not next generation why replace something if it is not broken, the gamecube was still a top loader, also it came out first so sony and Nintendo had ideas on how to make a better console. hardware and software
games determine if it is next generation and since when does how loud a system is determine the generation. So I guess a Atari 2600 or NES must be advanced they make no noise and also having a built in power supply would have added cost.
the problem is how is the xbox 360 “Next Gen” if it has a disk tray???? the ps2 had a disk tray. ps2 came out a longggg time ago. Why would the xbox have that if its next gen?

Also what is so bad about DVD not everybody has HI-def TV’s so what is the point of getting a Blue-ray player if you do not have a 1080 HI-def tv you will not see any difference on a smaller tv like the 20inch HDTV my 360 and PS3 are both hooked up two, and also what is wrong with a Disk tray the PS2 had a disk tray and it work just fine and saved sony money. the PS3 way of doing it just makes one more thing that could possibly brake not saying people have had that problem before though.
Yes I said my personal experience was my PS3 being less reliable not all Xbox 360′s break and I see you did not argue how I said they fix the red ring of death and lowered the failure rate so it is not nearly as high as it used to be more around PS3 now. So you must agree with that part then.What do you mean powere cord the controllers are wireless unless you mean to charge it, last time I checked though you still have to plug PS3 controllers in to charge them.
