I bought Playstation Controller 3 when the price went down to $43,99. It won't dip lower than that for at least another year, with the occasional 42.99 or 39.99 promotions lasting a day or so. The Playstation Controller 3 is pretty good, responsive, and gets the job done.
It's hard to review a controller... it all works. No buttons get stuck for me, including shoulder buttons. The analog sticks are precise, and the whole thing is comfortable. I have big hands and I am fine, my girlfriend has small hands and when she plays she has no problems. At the discount price of $43.99 or less, it's a definite purchase.

These new painted Playstation Controller 3(DualShock 3) are better than the black ones, because the paint finish makes them easier to grip. The black plastic ones become slick when your hands sweat while gaming, while the painted ones have a matte finish that adds a little texture. I have a silver one and this red one, both have a nice look.
The problem with the red version is that the indicator light next to the usb plug shines through the casing. With the light and the paint being red, the light gets an intensity boost and it shows through the top of the controller. It's not a big deal to me, but is surprising coming from Sony as they usually don't miss details like that. Otherwise this is a great color red, with just a bit of metal flake. Get one of these and spice up your gaming.

Only thing its missing is usb cable 2.0 for re-charging that you have to buy,if you lost original that came with PS3 system ,or can use any other usb 2.0 you saved somewhere. if you have played PS1 ,PS2 and now PS3. Shape of Playstation Controller 3 isn't changed and sony kept its originality but made a lot of tech. advancement within it to make it perfect for wireless connection with long battery life.Still Retail stores are selling it arround 60 bucks so amazon is way to go to save money.
