I mean for goodness sake, the thing has been out for over a year and the bottom line is, Nintendo Wii and XBox 360 are more popular, are atleast 100 bucks cheaper and seem to have more offer. Is Sony planning any price cuts for Playstation 3? Or are they just going to let prices stand and continually stay defeated in sales?

what did u expect, the PS3 got the Blu-ray in there and the cool graphics, its not going to go down that fast
when sony comes up with a plan for a PS 4
by Xmas hopefully or they’ll facing and inevitably defeat of sales for damn sure, but i hope they did cause im a ps3 owner and hope that you get the chance to embrace it soon.
Have you ever looked at prices for a stand-alone Blu-Ray player? The cheapest one I’ve ever seen is $350. When you consider that a PS3 is a Blu-Ray player PLUS a gaming system, it’s really a wonder that it’s not more expensive than it already is.
Sony already takes losses on every PS3 unit they manufacture. They’re depending on software sales to regain their profits, and it’s not happening. Until Sony starts making money off the PS3, there’s no way that they can drop the price.
