Maybe I'm blind, but I'm not seeing how to get a Nintendo DS game from the cartridge to the computer. I want to get a card (ie Acekard or similar) and copy my DS games to the card. I'm not looking to pirate games that are already downloaded.

Sorry my friend, you can not do that, that is still somewhat considered pirating. I know the R4 / AceKard devices are GREAT when it comes to portability – saves on a LOT of room on carrying around all those carts (up to 20 games or more) on one 4GB SD card or so a friend of mine had.
I rarely used my DS, now I have a DSi and I purchased the DSi ArmorStore Case for $9.99

I love it, it has a few flaws, but better than leaving all of your game out waiting for someone to take them or you forgetting them in a separate bag.
