The Reason why the psp does'nt read the memory card is the psp's card reader (gold pins) are not touching the card ,so its not able to read it. the proper way to fix it is to open up the psp and bend the pins upward or change the psp's card reader. There are a few videos on utube or u can go to a repair/sparepart shop that specialises on psp. You just need a piece of paper!! (Cut a piece of paper roughly the size of the memory card/stick and make sure when you cut , cut the thing so that there is some excess paper at the back this makes it easy to pull out and avoiding the memory stick/card from being stuck.) Guess my video is not that good cuz the reason y i ask u all to use the paper is to make the memory card touch the receptor in the psp. well sooner or later it will bend somemore n make it impossible to work. SO the best idea is to go to a shop get it repaired(replace the card reader) after this dont take out the memory card everytime u want to put in games or anything. USE the USB Cable

pls i need help. i have 2 mem stick and 1 of them is working and 1 is not as i dont know the reason. then i borrow a friend mem stick and it works on my psp and as soon as i put a program into it……the psp stop reading the mem stick and i think that wat happen to my mem stick

So many tanks for you dude!!! It works perfectly on my brother’s PSP, just to mention that the piece of paper must be placed on top of the memory, and also works if you insert the paper with the memory card together.
